However, once the cool breeze passes by you realize that the “binge season” went a little overboard and now you have to shed away the not so healthy pounds. Now pumpkin seed is one such ingredient that goes well in anything and everything you crave to eat. By the end of this post you will have some happy recipes in which our seeds will add a healthy twist to your binge.

Recipes

  • Pumpkin Seed Smoothie

What will I need?

  • 2-4 tbsp Tassyam Pumpkin Seeds
  • 1 apple sliced
  • 3 chopped carrots
  • 2 cups of milk

What to do?

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add more milk for a thinner consistency.
  • Pour into a tall glass and enjoy your smoothie guilt free.

2)Pumpkin Seed Milk

What will I need?

  • 1 cup Tassyam pumpkin seeds
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 piece of ginger
  • 1 tbsp Tassyam cinnamon
  • 3-6 Tassyam dates
  • a pinch of salt

What to do?

  1. Soak the pumpkin seeds in water with a pinch of salt.
  2. Leave for 8 hours, rinse and strain.
  3. Add all the ingredients in a blender and blend until all the seeds are finely ground.
  4. Strain using a muslin
  5. Squeeze all of the moisture out and then enjoy the milk within 3 days.

3)Sweet Pumpkin Seed

What will I need?

  • 1 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups Tassyam pumpkin seeds
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Tassyam cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

What to do?

  1. Melt 1 Tablespoon of butter over medium heat in a medium-sized heavy-bottomed skillet.
  2. Whisk together sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Once butter has melted in your skillet, add pumpkin seeds.
  4. Cook, stirring frequently, until all seeds have puffed). Seeds will be beginning to turn golden brown.
  5. Add half tbsp of butter and melt, coating seeds in thin layer of butter.
  6. Add sugar mixture and stir well, until all seeds are coated.
  7. Transfer seeds to a wax-paper lined cookie sheet and allow to cool before enjoying.
